A ¼ beef is a great option for families who want to enjoy high-quality, farm-raised beef without needing a full freezer. It offers a nice variety of cuts and an affordable way to fill your freezer with local, grain-finished beef.

When you purchase a quarter beef, you're getting a mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef, and more—conveniently portioned and vacuum-sealed for freshness.

What You Can Expect:

  • Approx. 100-150 lbs of take-home beef (varies by animal)

  • You get to customize your cuts.

  • All beef is vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen

Typical Breakdown:

  • Steaks – Ribeye, T-Bone, Sirloin, Filet Mignon

  • Roasts – Chuck, Arm, Sirloin Tip, Rump

  • Ground Beef – ~40–50 lbs

  • Other Cuts – Brisket, Stew Meat, Short Ribs, Cube Steak

  • Soup Bones, Organs, or Fat (optional)

Note: A quarter is usually a “split half” – meaning you get cuts from both the front and hind quarters for variety.

Freezer Space Needed:

Plan for 4–5 cubic feet of freezer space—fits in a small chest freezer or shared upright freezer.
